Cukierski-Sullivan Site artifacts 2015

Cukierski-Sullivan Site artifacts 2015

Walter Cukierski

The top left item is a sharpened sandstone. The next three items are pounding/grinding stones and the last item is a chert spear head.

The top left item is a piece of a kettle handle. Next are four intact musket balls. The bottom middle item is a brass arrowhead and the item to it's right is a gun part. The rest of the items are colonial nails.

The top two rows are native pipe and pottery pieces. The rest of the items below are kaolin pipe pieces.

These are the Dutch glass trade beads that we found, including a Chevron bead that is pictured in the middle to the far right.

We are planning on continuing the chapter dig next year. Thanks to information obtained from the seventies we have identified two areas that we plan to excavate next year. We have some aggressive plans, so it should be an interesting year.
